Plane Crash in Inabanga, Bohol

The Air Transportation Office (ATO) will investigate into the cause of another crash of a four-seater Cessna plane in Inabanga town last Sunday.

Meanwhile, residents and local officials have repeatedly expressed alarm over
the many aircraft accidents here especially those that occur during landing maneuvers at the city airport which is a residential area.

Most of the accidents were blamed on engine trouble, however, the aircrafts were owned by flying schools that were being flown by student-pilots.

Around 2 p.m. last Sunday, the single-engine Cessna 152 which originated from Mactan, Cebu, crashed into an abandoned pond in barangay U-og, Inabanga.
The passengers, two of whom are Japanese nationals, came out of the aircraft unharmed but hurriedly left the scene.

The plane's captain was identified as Takeshi Ishida while his two passengers were Fujio Taguchi and Ursula Gabucan. The three left for Cebu immediately after the accident aboard another private plane.

Ishida is reportedly owner of Topflight Airways Inc., a flying school based in Mactan and the president of the Japanese Association in Cebu.

Jul, I don't think there's an airport in Inabanga.  Nagkataon lang didto ning bagsak. Pasalamat lang way na pinsala na taga ato and so are the two Japanese nationals and the lady Ursula.

Question lang:  ingon the three left the accident scene hurriedly.  Does that mean na wa man lang nila asikasoha ilang nahimo didto?

hehehhe incomplete ang report dear.  Mas complete unta to kon wa na to gidugang pag ingon na gadali-dali ug layas ang captain and passengers.

My guess is that ila jud tong gi asikaso kay tiaw President bya sa Japanese Association in Cebu tong captain and owner of the aircraft/flying school.

hello!!!! pipol,.... are you concerned of your safety in bohol? it's not about "maayu n lang kay way namatay" hey! do you feel safe roaming around bohol? or maybe it's beacause sa atong mentalidad, "ija-ija aho-aho", the point here is can we do anything to prevent these accidents? this is the 3rd time i've heard of plane crash in bohol, 1st in clarin-tubigon hinterlands, 2nd is at the tagbilaran city airport, nya kini ikatulo. all of them are not bound for bohol, HELLO! cge ra ta ka tugpahan ug eroplano n ma crash. kini man gud taga ATO mosugot r pud ug tugpahan ug mga students pilots kanunay ang ato runway, tigdawat man gud.

What's the mentalidad "ija-ija, aho-aho" got to do with this, ciclista?  What do you suggest to prevent these accidents?  Make a sign that can be seen up in the air that these flying schools are not allowed to hover in our Bohol because we have the "ija-ija, aho-aho mentalidad"?  Just wondering.  Thanks!

what i mean is, mura man ug wala tay paki s safety s atong lugar, wa tay idea nganong naa man sila s bohol nag tuon ug flying. why man dili sila s mactan or within the cebu area mag lupad2, is there something wrong with our ATO officials. or if bohol-ato would restrict them from flying and landing sa ato area, mawad an sila ug P1000(?) per use of our airstrip. i suggest, the local government would do an inquiry about this flying schools from cebu, on why are they using bohol as they training area, for their students.

besides, no philippine airplane can hover.
