Message: OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF THE LATE LOUIE JAY
YLAYA, AN 8-YEAR-OLD GRADE 2 - JOY PUPIL OF HOLY SPIRIT SCHOOL, WHO DIED DUE TO DENGUE HEMMORHAGIC FEVER COMPLICATIONS LAST WEEK.

HE IS A RESIDENT OF BARANGAY POBLACION 2, THIS CITY. HIS REMAINS LIE IN STATE AT THE HOLY NAME FUNERAL HOMES, CPG AVENUE, TAGBILARAN CITY.

MAY HIS ANGEL LEAD HIM TO HIS ETERNAL RESTING PLACE...

IN A MONTH'S TIME, THIS IS THE SECOND RECORDED DEATH OF AN HOLY SPIRIT SCHOOL PUPIL BECAUSE OF DENGUE.

LAST JULY, 8-YEAR-OLD SANDRA DINOROG OF CALCETA STREET, COGON DISTRICT, TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL ALSO SUCCUMBED DUE TO DENGUE.

THE HOLY SPIRIT SCHOOL FEDERATED PARENTS-TEACHERS ASSOCIATION, IN COOPERATION HEADED BY JERRY JOSEPH AZCONA LIM, WITH THE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION, IS BEEFING UP ITS INFORMATION DISSEMINATION EFFORTS TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEM. LAST MONTH, DR. ANTONIO PORTICOS, CITY HEALTH OFFICER, LED THE LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITIES WHO CONDUCTED AN OCULAR INSPECTION AND
FOGGING OPERATION OF THE SCHOOL.

Yes its truly sad when mayor has been trying to combat this system through fogging procedures and the mortality rates are still increasing while the fogging is still going on.
We had fogging recently performed in Dampas district this city, and was able to have the inside of my house fogged for free as well upon request. Shortly afterwards about two days later the lamook were back and bigger then ever. I do not think the kerosene method is strongest enough for the more muscle y bounded sort of insects with an equivalent punch same as Boom Boom Bautista's,that we have here in Bohol and Philippines abroad.
I also have an eight year old daughter and she is a student at a near by school to the last victim of dengue.
There is such a product available in America and it is not so expensive it is called citronella and when it is used the lamook die off or stay away from with in the strongest scented area where it is able to be smelled. I have yet to find citronella here in the Philippines. It is mixed in with a candle wax with a wick through it and has an oil base and a smell safe for humans but deadly enough to keep away and kill as well these killer insects.

I hope someone reading this is connected to working in a job at a mall or a store who can look into getting this product citronella and put on their store shelves available for the public to buy.

Yah, Pris, I also heard about that citronella thing. I think I saw it on tv diay. In Cebu, a businessman is trying to promote that wrist band containing an amount of citronella which, he said, is supposed to get rid of mosquitoes...
