NGCP Tower in Bohol Bombed
« on: June 29, 2012, 03:57:08 PM »
Police explore all angles in the recent blasting at another tower of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), this time, at Sitio Caseyay of barangay Camanaga in the town of San Miguel at the height of security transition from the 802nd Brigade to the Task Group SugBohol.

While investigators could still hardly move on after connecting the dots in the December 3 blasting at the post base of the NGCP tower in barangay Sta. Catalina in Sagbayan even after half a year already, last Sunday's early morning blast at NGCP Tower No. 60 in San Miguel have been added in the pile up of unsolved cases related to security.

Police Provincial Director Constantino Barot Jr. said that all angles have to be explored since there is no concrete hint as of this time and have to be given separate focus from the Sagbayan incident, though it is possible the two incidents could be related.

In the December blasting last year, the motive had already been established, but investigators still have to specifically identify the actual people involved in the incident.

One pattern is seen. Both blasting incidents were undertaken on the wee hours of a weekend.

The spot report submitted to the Bohol Police Provincial Office by the San Miguel Police Station stated that at about 7:10 o'clock in the morning of June 24, 2012, the municipal police station received a report on a blasting incident that transpired at Sitio Caseyay in barangay Camanaga. - source, bohol chronicle
