Magnitude 6.2 quake hits NW China, says European Seismological Center
MOSCOW, Dec. 8 (PNA/Sputnik) -- A magnitude 6.2 earthquake has hit the northwestern Chinese region of Xinjiang, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said Thursday.
According to the center, the quake hit 55 km. (34 miles) southeast of the city of Shihezi. (PNA/Sputnik)
