A wealthy Korean investor who visited the province recently said he will pour a huge investment here for various business enterprises.
Romeo Jong, of the Unique Interaction Co., who owns 60% of the country’s call center establishments, said he sees a big potential for business here in Bohol, particularly in Dauis town, just 8 kilometers away from the city.
The investor was here on a visit upon invitation of Atty. Ben Cinches, retired former National Bureau of Investigation regional director and now settling for good in Dauis town.
The Korean firm is eyeing to put up tourism related business interests like a retirement village complete with amenities and a mini golf course, a memorial park and call centers.
Mr. Jong met with some community leaders during his visit here and vowed to donate 15 units of computers for the barangays of Dauis.
He will be coming back with his staff and business technocrats to set up office as he felt confidence of the right business atmosphere of this island province now becoming the prime tourism destination in the country and the whole of Asia.
