Police operatives will dig deeper regarding the discovery of an alleged "sex initiation" conducted by a group of students in city schools.
SPO2 Generosa Bolotaolo of the Children and Women desk of the city PNP said the alleged male "sex initiator" was already invited to the city police headquarters for investigation as two of the young female victims positively identified him as the perpetrator.
The initiator whose name was withheld by the police is reportedly a computer science student of Holy Name University.
Conception Bagotchay, principal of the Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School said they already gathered testimonies from among the members of the group who likewise pointed to the same sex initiator whose roots is from Mindanao, but is presently residing in the city.
Bagotchay said that the discovery of the group started when a parent contacted the school as to the whereabouts of her daughter since it was already late in the day and their daughter was not yet home. It was traced that the girl was recruited by the group.
Testimonies revealed they were "sexually abused" by a sex master as an initiation to get accepted in the group. The investigation of the school further revealed that the two young girls who underwent the "sex initiation" in remote areas were tasked by the sex master to recruit three other students with a stern warning that failure to deliver recruits will put them into another sexual intercourse with the sex master.
Police said formal charges will be filed momentarily against the suspect.
School authorities asked parents to monitor the arrival of their children from school. The other indication of being recruited to this group is the child's frequent request for money since they were asked to contribute weekly for the group's survival
Meanwhile, another report of similar initiation of recruits was also unearthed at the University of Bohol high school department. The group operating at the university is likewise being monitored by the police.
The suspected sex master will be arrested in due time once formal charges can be filed in court, the police said. (Anthony Aniscal)
