It's a sad friday night news! [Nov. 20, 2009]

I was deeply saddened by the news about the death of the three graduating CKA students on motor accident (two were dead on the spot and the other on critical condition). The motor collide on the stationed bus line whose passenger dropped off to that point in time. I learned that the bus line has no signal lights on the rear end. And the night was on heavy rain due to bad weather.

I heard, that the students were all talented and excelled in their academic performances. They all active in and outside school activities. In short, they are popular in school and in town.
Hoping that the other girl will survive.

And to the bereaved family of the students my condolences to you.

This is a sad news, but a licensed driver will anticipate a moving vehicle in front of him might step on the breaks anytime so it is advisable to give a distance of 150 meters, this is a golden rule in driving.

this is so sad...I remember a friend of my brother..She was a graduating BSCS student...that morning she was scheduled to go to Civil Service Comm. Ofc at Davao City (she passed the exam) when the bus she boarded exploded...she was the first of the 5 victims who died on July 25, 2008 Metro Bus Shuttle bombing...

One of the two who died reportedly was the school's candidate in the forthcoming Miss BACS I. The group allegedly came from a rehearsal for the latter's pageant performance. BACS I stands for Bohol Association of Catholic Schools under the Diocese of Tagbilaran. (Those under the Diocese of Talibon belong to BACS II.) The school cancelled their participation in BACS' annual competition in sports, academics and literary/musical.

Basin break light ug signal light ang wa nag function sa bus....

Kalooy sab tawon sa mga batan-on ug ang mga gininakan nga nawad-an sa ilang mahal sa kinabuhi.

yah.. thats what i heard from my sister, that the CKA participation was cancelled due to this tragedy. So sad that the student are all ready for the said competition. But thats okey, maybe next year. Th said girl candidate for Miss BACS, was also a lead band majorette of the school. She may go in peace now..

may minaog man nga pasahero ngadto dapita, ang problema man gud kay ang bus line wala jud kuno na signal sa likod niadto pa..daut daw iya signal lights sa likod. Di ba usually pag driver ka tapos mohunong ka, magpalights on signal ka para safe ang temporary parking mo at driver na kasunod. Ang bus line daw wala nya ayoha ang signal lights.

It is just not the signal lights it is how the people drive here so unwise inconsiderate and without discipline.

Were these three students on one motor? In the states it is two person maximum here it is any amount you can fit on the seat maximum!

In single lane construction sights people are not staying to the right when sharing a single lane road look at Dauis bridge right now?

People here drive down the middle of the road.

People here overtake on the wrong side of other vehicles. Yea it is sad they are perished now but let this example be a lesson and a warning for so many drivers here who are so inconsiderate of other persons safety.

May the sweet kids RIP condolences to the family.
