China to Invade the Philippines?

The head of a Chinese government think-tank says China has no intention of invading the Philippines in response to a US pledge to help defend Manila's interests amid rising tensions in the South China Sea.

US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said on Thursday that Washington is committed to the Philippines' defense following a series of Chinese intrusions into Philippine-claimed waters.

President of the China Institute of International Studies Qu Xing said on Friday that it was based on a "totally groundless" premise that China would invade the Philippines.

"We have never sent troops to invade other countries and we have never used forces against other countries," Qu told a media briefing.

Ihatag na raman sa China ang isla nga ilang giilogan oi kay basin mao pa nay makaangin nga ilogon nila ang pilipinas.

I hope that there will be no war, as both the Philippines and China holds similar culture and have a history together. A war between our two countries would be devastating and unfortunate.

Simbako jud Dre,ipalayo. Karon man ni sila nag sugsug ug lantugi aning scarborough nga mouliay na ko ug Bohol. Kadimalas jud siguro namo inig tua na sa atua unya maggira. Ok ra pareha natong american citizen  kay i evacuate man tag balik diri ug dili man gani ang goberno maningamot nato apil naman pud ni sa travel insurance nga i evacuate unsaon nalang ang atong pamilya mabilin didto.
