Cebu, Negros remain preferred outsourcing destinations - NedaThe National Economic Development Authority (Neda) 7 said the information technology - business process management (IT-BPM) sector in Central Visayas remains strong, with several companies expanding their presence in the region. In fact, Neda 7 director Efren Carreon, said Cebu and Negros Oriental remain preferred destinations among outsourcing companies despite losing spots in Tholon's list of top outsourcing sites. Cebu’s delisting from Tholon’s top 10 outsourcing destinations was considered as among the major challenges faced by the region in the first half of this year. Other challenges include the Abu Sayyaf conflict in Bohol and the traffic and infrastructure woes.
