In the headlines:The famous Brewpoint, a coffee shop in the city, was the latest site of a robbery which happened when most of the cops and city residents were in Dauis town last Friday to send off the relics of St. Therese in a colorful fluvial parade which ended past 10 o'clock Friday night.
Two suspects, one armed with a handgun and another with a knife barged into the coffee shop almost unnoticed, pretending to be friends of the cashier.
The cashier, Cherryl Pinkian of Tamblot Street and server Sharon Gulle of Taloto, this city, narrated that the suspect armed with a handgun approached Pingkian and whispered that it was a hold-up. She immediately yielded the amount at the shop's cashier amounting to P4,000 and a check worth P3,000.
It was only when the two suspects left Brewpoint that customers started to notice the commotion inside the coffee shop at Lou Square, corner Soledad and Miguel Parras streets, this city
