MANILA, Philippines – Filipino boxer Denver Cuello forgot his title belt inside a taxi he rode last night. He is now asking its driver to return it.
Cuello (32 wins, 4 losses, 6 draws) said he boarded the taxi in the Cubao area and went to a mall along Sumulong Highway in Pasig City.
The boxer said he forgot to bring with him his World Boxing Champion Silver minimumweight title belt, which he earned in a bout against Mexican Carlos Perez in October last year.
Cuello said he was not able to get the taxi's plate number or name.
