The workshop was aimed for formulation of the LAPDs (Local Area Development Partnerships) having the specific goals of ‘establish the importance and contribution of the province to the nation’s socio-cultural and political growth and economic edge as well as the province’s sustainable eco-cultural tourism and agro-industrial sites to encourage investments and employment opportunities and to enable them to be much more productive, enterprising and participative in attaining the vision and goals of Bohol.

The LGUs were clustered by the Poverty Profile in four levels of deprivation based on population, the number of households, percentages of unemployment, dropouts, malnourished as well as of the type of major crops and industries.

BIAD-2 with 9 LGUs covering Loon, Calape, Tubigon, Clarin, Inabanga, Buenavista, Getafe , San Isidro and Catigbian. There will be a follow-up on December 5-7, 2006 wherein the designated representatives of each BIAD will again converge at the same venue to inculcate in them the significance of the workshop and to secure their commitment for the implementation of its noble objectives.

The formation and strengthening of the LAPDs is instrumental for securing assistance from overseas (Official Donor Agencies) since there is a move to deliver these assistances directly to them provided minimum necessary requirements are met.

Romans 10:9-10
"If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."
