I want you to know that I'm very proud of you for getting into this extended learning program. Make sure you have enough sleep for the big day ahead of you, stay focused, stay sharp, and most of all do not be afraid to speak your mind. If you know something about a particular organism, particular sample that the other students do not know, pounce on the opportunity and show your intelligence to your peers. Never be afraid to speak your mind, and don't you ever be scared to show your smarts. It is with grace that you are given such a strong whit and humility at the same time.
Like what I always tell my little brothers whenever they engage on a project or an academic endeavor, it is this: Give it your complete all, strive for the best and do not be so reserved in your abilities. Conquor all that is in your way and in the end, you will look back and see the rising sun shining on your back.
For such a young kid, I'm amazed by your keen interest in the sciences, particularly I am impressed by your wonder and strengths in your Kuya's favorite subject: Biology.
I see alot of myself in you, Kyle. Keep the fire burning within you. Take it from me, and burry that deep in your heart. Take it with you in this educational trip; take it with you in junior high school, in high school, in college and beyond.
I am very proud of you, Doy.
