Attended a faculty meeting this week at the hospital, then drove to Northwestern Univ. last night to lecture on Advanced EKG for the new batch of students. I have 25 kids in my Advanced EKG class.
Yesterday was the first day for Advanced EKG. A student of mine, in her late 40's, came up and said to me, "You're our professor? You're too young!"
Ning respond pood ko, "Age is nothing but a number."
Ha, ha, ha. Overall, they are a good batch. It really is very rewarding-- to be able to teach and give back what you know to students.
The good thing about medicine is that one can practice -- and one can also instruct. Both aspects are very rewarding.
Here's to a good weekend.
