went to Tagbilaran and deliver some invitation cards.

Today was a great day, actually. Had class, began our orientation for 2nd year.

So far, I really like Gen. Pathology, Pharmacology and Microbiology & Immunology. Our professor for Gen. Path not only is a clinical practictioner but also is a medical researcher. His methodology of explaining the subject matter is so vivid, and easy to digest.

My classmates and I were so excited to having him teach this semester. Let alone for next semester, haha. Lipay ko kaayo kai we are set.

Today was also a good day, gave a talk to some 1st years. I saw the expression of the 1st termers' faces in seeing their first cadavers. It reminded us of how we reacted last year.

I had to TA for anat lab today, our anatomy director joked, "Look how this year's class are adapting." Considering how we had individuals faint in our anat lab last year. The 3rd years and some of us 2nd year TAs couldnt help but smile.

Back to work.

We talked alot about death in clinical psych today. experiences with death, and grieving.

Just wanted to ask people in here, how did you handle death and/or the loss of a loved one?

Words cannot express the grief one feels when one loses love. Then again, wise words can heal wounds and help us reflect on the tragedy. If you have undergone a personal loss -- the loss of love or of a loved one -- Love is never lost. If not reciprocated, it will flow back and soften and purify the heart.

I gawked at the sight of staphylococcal infections.

I saw a patient with a staphylococcus aureus osteomylelitis infection. The staphyolococci infection literally weathered away his long bone in the lower extremity.

Even with treatment of cephalosporin and methocillin and oxacillin, the growth remains gradual--little impeding.

Na bacteremic and septic ang patient.

Thats why GUYS! you should ALWAYS wash your hands!
Evade nasal contact as well. ~

Went back home--took a nap. A 7 hour nap. lol.

went to the LTO for the renewal of my motorcyle's registration. slept for 4 hours then played basketball later in the afternoon.

I helped my husband did some gardening work.  He took time off to ready more raised beds.  I had fun shoveling dirt then transplanting seedlings.  Now I am tired.
