Had class from 8am till 3pm. Ning rest ko till 7pm, then at 7:30 ning adto sa gym with pareng Job.
After gym, ning adto mi sa balay ni Jason to eat some Curry Chicken and Rice.

Getting ready for our genetics review tomorrow. Reviewing some clinical folders right now as well.

My father in-law was early released from the hospital because he is not cooperative (dementia), I served him schicken soup and he ate well. IÂ´m happy, hope I could do more for him.

Tita, when Lolo lived with us back in 2003, we had to care for him completely. Hard bitaw kaayo to provide palliative care, pero, for me, it allowed me to bond with my dear Lolo.

For me, it was my turn to care for him, as he cared for me when bata pa ko sa unang panahon.

Wednesday is my very special day because that's our Feed The Needy Day. Today, we cooked and served meat macaroni and cheese with garlic bread. We also served green salad and fresh fruit salad. For dessert, a slice of cake with bar of chocolate.

Yesterday,

Observed someone that was suffering from Tachycardia. Very high HR, beyond the normal range. Temp range was around 102 degs F.

Salamat lang that he was stabilized.

Again,

today, I reviewed with my batchmates to review Leads I,II,III and reading electrocardiograms. It was interesting trying to place the leads on some of my friends, lol. We even made up a dance involving the positivity and direction of the charge. Left arm to right arm, right arm to left leg, and left arm to left leg.

Reading and identification of the PQRST waves was interesting.

And who said medical students can't have fun? lol.

It is amazing how much coffee and a little bit of sexual inuendos can 'lighten' the mood in a study session.

It validates this: Sexual Frustration increases memory creativity in acronym formation. LOL (esp. when acronyms are sexual-based, thank you very much Job, Shalabh, and Jason for the hilarious yet educative time)

i watched the superbowl early in the morning. thank God steelers win. i thought it's going be the cardinals when they led by 3 23-20 with just over 2 minutes left. good thing roethlisberger showed nerves of steel as he was able to make a shotgun pass to santinio holmes for the game winning touchdown. kudos to the steelers and their rookie coach mike tomlin. added attraction was arnel pineda, the filipino frontman of journey who performed that day together with bruce springsteen and more.

Was reviewing the NBA game between LA Lakers and NY Knicks. Kobe Bryant really made a history scoring 61 points in this game without Bynum because of injury. All time high ni in this particular place with records of MJ and LJ to reckon with. What made him achieve this record was the point I wanted to see. This was my conclusion: He placed the ball in his own hands with little assistance from Pau Gasol who also scored 31 points. Other members of the team were placed in the sideline playing with less efforts. In short, he was very lucky to have his 'crocodile shots' converted.

Went to class from 8-11. Now on break till 1pm.

Then class again from 1pm-3pm.

Studying later then going to gym with Job @ 8pm.

Then studying from 9pm-2am
