Sorry for the Downtime
« on: July 14, 2007, 10:32:09 AM »
Dear Friends,

I don't know if you've experienced this today: Saturday morning. Tubag Bohol was down for 5 to 10 minutes. This happened because I bought a new IP address, a dedicated IP address, for our website, and there was a necessary configuration that must be implemented to our server. The Dedicated IP address is intended for faster web access.

If you experienced problem accessing Tubag Bohol, here's the solution:

1. If you're using Firefox, go to Tools, scroll down and click "Clear Private Data", and check all the boxes, and click OK. With that, all your unnecessary Internet files will be deleted, and your computer will run faster.

2. If you're using Internet Explorer 7 or lower versions, do the same procedure, only that you go to Tools, then Internet Options, then go to General, and click "Delete All" files under "Browse History." Your computer will be cleaned up.

3. Another way to clean up your computer and eliminate unnecessary files is to go to All Programs (if you're using Windows XP, Vista, or lower versions), click Accessories, click System Tools, then click "Disk Clean-up", then click Drive C, then check all the boxes, then click OK.

4. Use CCleaner for a total clean-up of your computer. Download CCleaner from this link:

After you installed CCleaner, click Cleaner, then click "Analyze" (do it twice), then click "Run Cleaner" (do it twice). The result: you computer will run faster. You can use CCleaner for other purposes such as defrogging your register, eliminating unnecessary start-up programs, and even uninstalling unused programs.

5. After doing all these things, restart your computer.

Happy Weekend!

Truly yours,

Mike Ligalig
