That red building is Bentley Hall, the oldest building in Allegheny College. It is rather old, it was constructed the same year Allegheny College was founded, in 1815. The former U.S President William McKinley attended our college, as did Gen. Lafayette, one of the contributary members of the American Revolution, visited our college during its infancy.

There is something very beautiful about old buildings that gets me deep inside.

I can only imagine the kinds of memories and nostalgia of past students that came before me---
