I took this in 2010 when I was in Haiti for a volunteer program after the earthquake that rocked that country.

'Shaken but not destroyed'



Photographer's note: What i was trying to capture in this shot was the beauty of how the church was damaged, yet not completely destroyed. This church structure was eventually repaired. Tho the roof of the church was damaged, what really captivated me was the fact that the Crucifix and the Statue of the Crucified Jesus Christ was not damaged. The symbolism of which I leave to others to interpret in their own way.

"The Visit"




This portrait was located inside the Basilica Minor de Santo Nino in Metro Cebu, Cebu Province. I was attracted this picture because it shows the late Pope John Paul seeing the Senor Santo Nino for the first time during his Papal visit to Cebu, Philippines. It touched me because like Pope John Paul II, I , too, was making a homage to the Sacred Image of the child Jesus. Visitors.
