great.  what a therapeutic activity.  nakasuway baya ko sa causeway sa tagbilaran... tuk-ong sa daplin kay nag-fishing kunohay.  zero catch, hehe.  wa nako butangi ug paon kay mahadlok kog isda nga mokisikisi.  p.s. ibog lang ko sa imong boat.

I was so happy one of my daily mass/coffee group member invited me to do it. Not much of a fisherman - don't have patience for it - but that day was "a-lot-of-catch" day ;)

Here's a video of that day:

I'm happy to know that good friends are really inspiring. When i told my friend that my nose was runny (allergies), she offered to make me tom yum sardine soup. lol. too cute ! So i'll accept her invitation and come over to have some warm tom yum soup.

Maybe the spicy thai food will do me good. :)

To whom it may concern,

Its been 9 weeks since we last talked. I suppose our evasion of each other is a culmination of our differences and need to move on. As if the universe is motivating us both to go on our separate ways. At first, sakit akong kasingkasing kai ka ingon ko di ko ma buhi ug di ta together. Nonesense thinking. I have survived and quite well without you. There is less stress in my life, unecessary thoughts of caring for another person more than myself.

In time, the thoughts of you will fade. I will maintain my course of direction. Focusing on me.

I cannot and will not hate you or hold disdain to you because I do honestly care for you. I wish you all the best in life, Girl, and I wish all your dreams, aspirations come true. Most of all, I wish that you find a man who will be able to love you, care for you, and someone who will be better than me. You deserve someone who is the best for you.

Please think kindly of me and do not hold any animosity and hatred of me, Girl. I hope you understand.

Sincerely Yours,
Some Guy

Dearest S,

I will not contact you because i know you're studying for your boards. That and the fact that i know that you have to move on from me. It has been 11 weeks since we saw each other or contacted each other. I don't want to break that. It is necessary.

I dreamt of  you two nights ago. It was rather peculiar because i wasn't thinking of you at all this week, anyways, i hope and pray that you're doing good, that your studies are successful and that you're hitting the high marks. I continue to pray for you that you remain safe, and continue to receive God's blessings.

The reason why I am writing this is because today is your special day. I could never forget this birthday because on this day i usually would bake you a cake, surprise you in the morning, with a gift and kisses. But this year is different as will every year be. Despite our situation, S, i want to wish you a Happy Birthday. Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday ! I pray that the Lord Our God showers you with unfathomable blessings and graces this day and on all days! I pray that all your hard work , dreams, aspirations come true. It is also in my heart and wish that both your mother and father are in good health and in good spirits. How i miss talking to your father and sharing laughs with him.

Happy Birthday!

Always I remain,
A. L. L. Jr.

thank you for that reminder, tita. i just have to remain strong. am praying that God continues to give me strength to move on and to accept the situation as it stands. i admit fully that i am weak when it comes to this woman. i am so weak when it comes to people who i love.

and, despite it all, i admit i still love her. unsaon man ni, i just want it to go away. if my love for her goes away, i can move on faster. i wish she would give me back my heart. she still has it. :'(

putting my feelings into words.

so where's the harm?  dying embers fanned to turn into flames by a birthday greeting?  then what must be, must be, because a thoughtful gesture never harmed anyone.  meantime, pride is man's downfall.

believe me, i'm a woman.  she must be missing you terribly too.  she just doesn't know where to go from here.  don't press her too hard, take the middle road.  just see to it that she understands that you'll be there for her, in case.

meantime, be kind to yourself.  for all we know, you may not really want her back.  what you're going through now is just that you're missing what was, wondering over what could have been, and licking your wounded pride.  c'est la vie. :)

most welcome and fond wishes, lorenz.

credit my years of being born ahead of you, with all that those years entail-- falling and standing up, going through hell and back, and now there's the banana republic who understands why i have to cry over my sister and the kids and the dogs and cats but would never bat an eyelash if i lost a diamond ring.  funny, neither would he bat an eyelash over that.

:-\

why equate "not batting an eyelash" with wealth?  there could be other reasons...

1.  the "lost diamond ring" is only symbolic of one's attitude towards material things
2.  the diamond ring is fake
3.  i have no eyelashes to bat
4.  if the diamond ring is lost, then it's lost.  i can't have it back by crying.

sorry, but our ways of looking at things go in different directions.  which reminds me, does much money scare you?  do you use money to scare people?  you seem to imply such.  too bad.  and what a pity.

believe me, i'm a woman.  she must be missing you terribly too.  she just doesn't know where to go from here.  don't press her too hard, take the middle road.  just see to it that she understands that you'll be there for her, in case.

meantime, be kind to yourself.  for all we know, you may not really want her back.  what you're going through now is just that you're missing what was, wondering over what could have been, and licking your wounded pride.  c'est la vie. :)
i want my wife back. why not. pero ug di na jud sija naho, okey lang. i have found a new love. matino nga babaye. dili gold digger. she hates me now. but i can wait. hate is only the flip side of love.

most welcome and fond wishes, lorenz.

credit my years of being born ahead of you, with all that those years entail-- falling and standing up, going through hell and back, and now there's the banana republic who understands why i have to cry over my sister and the kids and the dogs and cats but would never bat an eyelash if i lost a diamond ring.  funny, neither would he bat an eyelash over that.

Such wonderful heart. A woman can, truly, endure so much, can consume so much love -- for family, friends, beloved -- and at the same time sacrifice almost everything. Resilience is admirable, it illustrates the human character, the potential we, all of us, have.

Thank you for your message, Tita. I believe all of us who have gone through heart aches, are going through, have gone through, can learn from your message.

;D :D
