I replied to him with a smile. "Well, because, Ahmad, because I don't talk disrepectfully to them as you do. You talk and you walk as if you have a pole up your a$$. Just because they are nurses does not mean that they know less than you, nor are they stupid as what you perceive them to be."
He did not reply, shocked at how direct I was.
I then proceeded, "Many of those nurses are Filipinos. I am also a Filipino. Hence they treat me with care; that and I show respect to the older ones. Its' a Filipino thing where we show respect to the elders, even if I am higher in rank and in educational training."
Kining mga muslim/arab physicians are very arrogant to the extreme. Even when they are wrong, and are corrected by the veteran ICU/ER nurses, dili jud sila mo listen. WRONG WRONG!
Aber, they don't even know that some of the Pinoy nurses were trained DOCTORS in the Philippines! LOL!
Para nako, daghang respeto jud ko's sa mga pinoy nurses.
