Eating Japanese food
« on: May 17, 2008, 04:24:26 AM »
Yesterday, Alyssamarie aka smiffy came by straight from school.  After waiting for the mailman to pick up a special package, we went to have lunch at a nearby Japanese restaurant.

BOC, you are not alone.  My husband refused to learn how to use chopsticks.  Ingon nya, he's too old to learn! Can't teach new tricks na daw! hahahaha

Aya san, mura'g anad nko gamay pero di jud nko basta2x gamiton tong gwapa na mga chopsticks imong gihatag.  I just use the disposable ones that you sent and sometimes mag bitbit ko from Japanese restaurant if naa koy leftover dalhon.   :D

I remember back when I was still in Cagayan and I was a member of the Bai Lawanen Jaycees, we had Japanese guests to "immerse" unta to both atong cultures but it was more on how to use chopsticks ra man.  ;D

In fact, that's a good idea Aya san kanang mag-contest using chops sticks sa Grand EB nga duol na. Pwede na i-suggest sa mga organizers para bibo ba para karon magsige na na sila practice for those TB peeps na dili pa kabalo mogamit ug hop sticks...I mean chops sticks. ;D

Aya san, ako jud favorite Japanese restaurant is called Arigato Restaurant.  Mosulod ko diha with my girl friend, kabalo na sila unsay among orderon:  miso soup with extra seaweeds, seaweed salad, edamame, sushi and seafood udon unya ang dessert kay sencha green tea ice cream! yum o! :D

Naa pod Japanese restaurant walking distance sa among house, kon didto pod mi, kabalo na pod na sila unsay among i order.  For Murage, chicken teriyaki na dili ipasagol ang teriyaki sauce with green salad and miso soup pero wala silay seaweeds but naay tofu.  Ang akong food kay Donburi of sushi and tempura.

I love Japanese food jud!
