There is a debate among people who are losing their self esteem and self image concept on which attribute is generally favourable, being beautiful or being intelligent.
Intelligent and not so good looking people claim that beauty comes with substance emphasizing that "what's with a beautiful case, but having a rotten filling?
Physically beautiiful people flaunt their vanity claiming, that in reality its beauty that counts. No one wants to hire an ugly person. First impressions are important and the physical case prompts every beholder to be interested in a person.
Remember Kants four moments of Aesthetic theory, how do we respond to beauty? Is it at all a thing of sense or something more on how we feel and have experienced beauty?
The debate maybe non sense for other people, but this leads us to a better understanding of who we are, and how we perceive other people.
