As I write this..i begin to settle down to my cozy and comfy chair in my college dormitory and ponder to myself....one more year? or another page in my life. This is my 4th year in college--and the last year for me to 'relax' and hang out with my friends before I start medical school next year. As I think of this--images of my mom, my dad, my beautiful brothers and my dear sister--as well as the nostalgia of being around my friends. Memories of snow sleddding during freshman college year--and rolling down the hill--and look up and see my friends laughing--as they roll down the hill too. The times we spent walking around the Susquehanna River--and dipping our feet inside the shore--and watch the trees tossle left to right--as the wind brushes through my face. Memories. Powerful memories. I begin to remember---and realize that this will probably be the last time I see some of my friends--as we will be separated in our own path--this journey of life takes us.
When will I see them again? I ask..yet know not the answer. Will any of us change in the future? God only knows...
I begin this year with trepidation and fear of my Lord and God--yet comforted and motivated by his love and presence around me. Another year..another step..in this journey we call--life.
