Re: Oil Exploration and its environmental impact
Dear Support Team,
Appreciate your prompt support.
All creatures has the right to live in this planet. It is not ethical to harm others just for the money or self interest.
I remembered when I was a student at HSS, our religion teacher told us that we humans are the viceroy of this world. We should manage properly our resources for God rest on the 7th day and he shall create no more.
Speaking of dolphins, they are really amazing and one of the sophisticated creatures in this planet. They are mapping their way through echoed sound like an ultrasound device. Actually, one dolphin in Australia can determine weather a woman is pregnant or not by just scanning her tummy in the pool. Dolphins will hunt by emitting high frequency sound, which could paralyze a small fish.
Also Whales will migrate from California to the Arctic, through the pacific, passing Hawaii, Japan and Alaska. They will also navigate through echo location by emitting low frequency sound. So, any sound disturbance like the ones used in oil exploration could distract their navigation.
Let us keep the natural beauty of Bohol. We should not allow ugly, rusty oil rigs spoil the beautiful scenery of our island. Oil rigs are hazardous to health and tourists may shun away. In Saudi Arabia, oil rig workers shall take a mandatory vacation every 3 months due to health risk.
Finally, before digging this oil (if there is any), we must first solve the corruption situation in this country. Otherwise this money will just fall into the wrong hands.
Keep up the good work guys.... this web site is great ... I mean really great....
