Some Filipino Poets Using Cebuano/Bisaya Language
« on: October 24, 2008, 07:23:57 PM »

Yu, Januar Yap, Myke Obenieta, and Michael Ligalig. I was teaching Visayan language with Americans. My great  problem is the rule
in spelling. Vowel e and i can be interchanged, also o and u. Deli , dili or deli
pito, peto or petu. May I know the basic rules in spelling bisayan language.

       Bidlisiw

Kaanindot sud-ongon ang unang bidlisiw
Mohinay-hinay nag aginod si haring adlaw.
Hangtod moabot sa kaudtohon
Mohinay-hinay pagpaubos sa kasadpan.
Hangtod nga   moabot sa kahaponon.
Kaanindot si haring adlaw sod-ongon,
Ang iyang katapusang bidlisiw,
Nga mopanaw na sa sayong kagabihon.
