Kahumot Sa Dahong Laya
sinulat ni m. ligalig

Mihangyo ka kanako nga iuli ko kanimo
ang kagabhion nga akong gihulaman.
Matod mo kinahanglan na ako nga mobiya
kay nangatagak na ang kilay sa kangitngit.
Buot pa unta ko nga ihungit kanimo
ang katam-is sa mga liso sa kamatis
apan gihikawan mo na ako nga mosapidpid
sa sampot sa hilaw nga mansanas.

Sa akong pagtalikod, gibilin ko nalang kanimo
ang kahumot sa dahong laya.

To be honest, I didn't understand it either.

I actually had to read it again...

But, whatever...

the beauty of poetry is that you can interpret it any way you choose...

And I chose to focus on the food...
