Human Sa Imong Paglabay
sinulat ni M. Ligalig

adunay nagpangablit nga Kasakit
sa dihang nagkaduol ka sa Dapit
diin kataposan mo syang Nakita

Romans 10:9
"That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved."

this keeps on resounding in my head.

So very deep. In figurative language, and also in the Bisayan vernacular.

Mike. Bro. Please can you translate this entire poem for me in English?

I am so sorry that my proficiency in Bisaya is sub-par. I would really appreciate it, Brod Mike.

Hello Bran, it's 2 a.m. in Thailand. Here's the translation:

"the refusal not to glance at that window anymore"

I am not certain whether that is the right translation. :)

It's a beautiful poem, Mike. But it makes me remember the white lady who used to make estambay sa among natad. I had french windows in my bedroom sa Pinas, with sheer fabric nga kurtina, klaro kaayo kung naay molabay. I was always scared nga molabay ang white lady. ngeh

Brod Mike,

You truly have a beautiful mind. The way you describe things in Bisaya in your balaks.

After reading your balaks, my reaction is total silence.

Haha, I had my mom try to translate your other poems. Ingoon kono si Mom, "Deep kaayo".

PS. Brod Mike, thank you kaayo for the translation.
