John was the only one to die of natural causes.

Ngano kaha pud no?

Maybe because this is God's way of showing how favored John is? Maybe.

Brother Vincent,

Christ gave each of the apostles the cup; I believe the "cup" was the cup of suffering - not necessarily martyrdom. Tradition says John was immersed in a vat of boiling oil; but he emerged from it unharmed. It was then he was banished to the desolate Isle of Patmos, where he wrote the Book of Revelation. He lived to old age because it was in Our Heavenly Father's plan. I believe that God loved the apostles equally and totally; he just had a different plan for each of them. Everything manifests according to His purpose...

"I, John, am your brother and your partner in suffering and in God’s Kingdom and in the patient endurance to which Jesus calls us. I was exiled to the island of Patmos for preaching the word of God and for my testimony about Jesus. "

Revelation 1:9

What I truly admire about the Apostles is their trials and tribulations in spreading forth the Gospel. Imagine the zeal and strength that they received after Pentecost ! Such zeal for the Word of God. Amazing.

I dont know why, but I want to ask you, Brother Vince, this question: "Have you thought about it recently?"

You know what I'm talking about.

It's always there Bro. It keeps on whispering but I am too weak and frightened to answer.

Same for me, too, Brother. Kalingaw ko maka dungog nija, I'm actually seeing a spiritual director to help me discern further on this matter. This past month, Vince, I undertook a pilgrimage to the Basilica in Holy Hill, Wisconsin, a very beautiful place for Marian Adoration. Visiting the place has re-ignited this calling. I will also like to endorse to you to visit a catholic retreat by yourself sometime. Sometimes its necessary. Ayaw pa hadlok, bro. I'll pray for you as well. Pray for me, too. please.

God Bless.
