Ubi Caritas Deus ibi est

Ubi caritas et amor,
ubi caritas Deus ibi est.

Congregavit nos in unum Christi amor,
ubi caritas et amor Deus ibi est.
Exultemus et in ipso jucundemur,
ubi caritas et amor Deus ibi est.

Et ex corde diligamus nos sincero,
ubi caritas et amor Deus ibi est.
Et in medio nostri sit Christus Deus,
ubi caritas et amor Deus ibi est.

The first stanza of this song is saying, "Where there is Love, where there is Charity, there is GOD."

Beautiful song. This was sung in today's Catholic Mass for Holy Thursday celebrated at Our Lady of Peace Parish Church.

Absolutely beautiful and powerful evening mass.

GLORIA ET EXCELSIS DEO.

I love this song, I sing the first 2 lines as a hymn of praise, when I´m tired and lonely.
