The novena to Our Lady of Mt Carmel commences on the 7th and finishes on the 15th July, the vigil of the Feast Day which is on the 16th July.
Say each day for nine days:
O most beautiful flower of Mt Carmel, fruitful vine, splendour of Heaven, blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea help us and show us herein you are our mother. O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven, we humbly beseech you from the bottom of our heart to succour us in this necessity. There are none that can withstand your power. O show us herein you are our mother.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee (3 times)
Sweet mother we place this cause in your hands. (3 times)
