By the grace of Divine Providence,
the heart of man is formed.
Let me explain to all of you the marvelous brilliance of Providence in his architectural design of man's heart:
Blood vessels first appear int he wall of the yolk sac, allantois and chorion. They develop within the embryo shortly thereafter. Spaces appear within aggregation of mesenchyme, known as blood islands.
The spaces soon become lined with endothelium derived from the mesenchymal cells. These primordial tubules sprout and unite with other vessels to form a primordial cardiovascular system. Toward the end of the third week, the heart is represented by paired endocardial heart tubes that are joined to blood vessels in the embryo and in the extraembryonic membranes (yolk sac, umbilical cord, and chorionic sac.)
By the end of the third week, the heart tubes have fused to form a tubular heart that is joined to vessels in the embryo, yolk sac, chorion, and connecting stalk to form the primordial cardiovascular system.
The primordial blood cells--hemangioblasts--are derived from mainly from endothelial cells of blood vessels in the walls of the yolk sac and allantois.
By the end of the third week, the heart forms and upon its complete formation; it
immediately starts to pump blood and circulates the fetal blood. It has been designed that by the end of the third week, all fetal hearts will pump and it remains active and pumping non-stop. It continues to pump after the fetus exits the mother's uterus, continues to pump when the child grows to adult size, and continues to pump until death.
Isn't it so wondrous how PROVIDENCE designed our heart? That he so willed it to pump by the 3rd week of life! 3 weeks after conception, the embryo already pumps blood.
LORD, MY MIGHTY AND BRILLIANT GOD,
On my knees I fall.
LORD, MY MERCIFUL GOD,
As I study your works in embryology, histology, anatomy,
ma kujawan man ko intawn, GINOO, sa imung brilliance, sa imung MAJESTY in your designs, LORD!
GINOO KO,
Ikaw man ang na design namo tanan, Ikaw man ang editor, ang columnist, ang deliverer of all these constructs, LORD.
On my knees, LORD, I glorify THEE.
AMEN!Linkback:
