There is no such thing as a person who is so far 'away' from the mercy of God, Tohnichi. If you repent of your sins and ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness and direction in your life, He will do it. Remember Peter ?
If you open your bible and open to Matthew Chapter 14, I want you to read verses 28 to 31. This is important.
In Chapter 14 of Matthew we notice that Jesus gets out of the boat and walks on water. This was part of God's Plan in ministering His Word and in the revelation of the Glory of His Son to the disciples. We notice that Peter says to the Lord Jesus Christ, "Lord command me to the waters and I will come!"
Jesus then tells Peter, "Come!".
This is important, Tohnicihi. Because Peter is in fact the proto-us. His role is that of us. Jesus invites him to come to the waters, meaning, to come to Jesus Christ. Just as we all are invited to Jesus Christ.
If you continue to read on. You notice that Peter does walk, but begins to sink after his fear gets the best of him.
As Peter begins to sink, he yells out, "LORD, HELP ME!"
And what does the Lord Jesus Christ do?
Verse 31 reiterates The Lord's Faith-fullness: "
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him."
We all should remember this; in that when we need Jesus Christ's help, we should reach out to Him and have Complete Trust in Him, as what Peter had. Christ will rescue you, no matter what.
He is the Maker, Redeemer, Savior, the Lord of All Things.
God Bless and stay strong!
