Every element of the festive celebration of Mass on Easter Day resounds with the great Alleluia the triumphant word of praise for God of men and angels.



The Resurrection of Jesus is a "once and for all" event. It belongs not to the past, but is an ever-present reality,  Happy Easter to all and your family!

Rejoice: Christ Has Risen!

In one of Paul's most emphatic statements, he declared, "If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith" (1 Cor. 15:14). If Jesus Christ did not rise from the dead, everything else is a waste of words. If he is not alive right now, Christianity is a hopeless fraud. But the good news is that Jesus has indeed risen from the dead—as our Savior, and as the promise that we will also rise from the dead.

Happy Easter! Akong mga anak nangutana namo ganiha nganong unsa kono akong gikabusihan sa kusina ingon ko naay party ugma kay Easter. Si Michelle nangutana nganong naay Easter mao akong gi explain nga si Jesus namatay pero nabanhaw unya ingkalit raman ko ug kanta adtong Alive Alive Alive forevermore. Gabi-i,  samtang ako  naghulat  sa misa, hilabihan ka ngitngit sa simbahan ug hilom jamo.  Hinay-hina gibati ko ug kahadlok, kay akong maisip, kon walay kahayag asa padolong ang atong kinabuhi?
Kon walay kaluwasan unsa ang dagway sa ugma? Milabay ang katunga sa oras, nagsugod na ug daig ug kayo sa gawas, ug ako naka ingon sa akong kaugalingon, Ginoo ikaw ang among kahayag!

Manay, thanks for sharing the picture below of your observance of the Easter Vigil.  We also had a very wonderful celebration of the Easter Vigil Saturday evening. 

Ganahan ko sa proseso na gasugod ta's ngit-ngit dayon sa pagkabanhaw ni Jesus Christ, ningbalik na pod ang kahayag.  My take is that, we could not have had appreciated the light if we didn't go through darkness.  Powerful jud kaayo ang pag celebrate sa Easter Vigil, although one of my cousins wa ka agwanta sa ka taas sa serbisyo nakatulog!  Tiaw ba 3 hours ang service, from 8 to 11 p.m.!

Taas bitaw ang misa, plus latin, kantahon pajud. alas nueve hangtod alas dose.  Human sa misa gaan ang pamati sa akong lawas.
