Blessing Those Who Curse Us

Matthew 5: 44-45


But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

The same message is repeated, again, in Luke 6: 27-28,

"27But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

 28Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you."

I will add:

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to it; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing, this you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.

Proverbs 25:21-22

Just try this formula and you will see the good effect on this.

Yes, we should always bless those who curse us or speak ill of us. Let their anger and their malcontent stay with them.

Because Christ is OUR consolation. hehe.
