I thought this quote by St. John of the Cross was quite enlightening and piercing.
It speaks truth of the message in
1 Corinthians 6:19, "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?â€
The deep meaning, brods, is that God lives in us when we allow Him to live in us and allow Him to work through us. Our good works, is not our own, but is the work of God through the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Eternal Father and The Son, Jesus Christ.
We are told, brothers, to shine for our good works so that all the house may see it and Glorify Our Father who is in Heaven. For our works of faith is not our own, but sing GLORY EVERLASTING to the One and Eternal Living God.
Glorify Him!
His Name is Worthy of All Praise.
The Name above All Names~ JESUS.
