Why do many Filipinos want to become lonely or to become a leader?
As Pres Marcos said,
Leadership is the other side of the coin of loneliness, and he who is a leader must always act alone. And in acting alone, accept everything alone.
ah, it is in loneliness that one can discern his / her thoughts and come to a rational conclusion on what he/ she is thinking about.
to be lonely is not necessarily a bad thing, but a choice one has placed himself/ herself.
and in the end, one is alone.
even a married man dies alone. he is embalmed alone, buried in a casket alone. and decomposes alone.
why, even if we refer to christian faith and what the afterlife is supposed to be like--we loose our physical bodies and retain only the spiritual body. and , alone, meet God to be judged according to faith and in deeds.
and if deemed worthy of Providence's Celestial abode, join with Him. Alone.
so, alone we come to the world. born. and thus we also die alone. naked as we came.
