Nicotine, tobacco's most active ingredient, which makes people addicted to smoking, have also some good sides or benefits.
From www. schizophrenia.com:
"Studies have found that smokers have lower rates of Parkinson's disease than non-smokers. The smoking rate among people with schizophrenia, depression and anxiety disorders is higher than the average. It is believed that people with these mental health disorders are self-medicating themselves with cigarettes because nicotine helps their minds function better."
From
www.sfgate.com:
"Scientists are finding significant beneficial effects from nicotine,.....
specially for neurological disorders like Parkinson's and Alzheiner's diseases, and Tourette's Syndrome."
From my personal experience:
Smoking relieves my headaches, I mean the physical headache.
When I am feeling down, with every puff of smoke I give out, it feels I am puffing out some bad vibes I have.
But most of the time, I smoke for the enjoyment of it. I specially like the smell of a newly lighted cigarette. I like the gratification cigarettes give after the heavy meal I have eaten, and cigarette goes well with my coffee. Best of all, cigarette after sex --- orgasmic !!!
Cigarettes are like my best friends --- I can reach for them anytime I want to. They are always for me there when I need them.
