Why all the hate for communists?

Why all the hate for communists?
For decades now I've heard Americans say all kinds of things about Communists (pinko scum etc) which ok, I understood when it was USA vs CCCP, capitalists vs communists, they were the enemy.

Just wondering why all the anti-commie hate still goes on. In the UK if someone said they were a communist the only reaction they'd get would be 'oh? What's that about then?'. You might expect them to read the Morning Star or dress in chinese peasant jackets, but evil? Wouldn't enter your head. Just a political opinion, less extreme than many (Sharia law anyone?).

hambal gid nila hang komyonis daw tanang galamiton daw pareha gid para sang tanan kag daw komon para sang banwa, mao sina indi gid sila manugpili sang sistima sang komonista.

Daw parihas gid ani na malip-ot na istorya, si toto nag panugot sang iyang tatay na magpakasal na gid siya.

toto   :  tay gina pangkot ko gid hang imon na pagtugot na magpakasal na gid ako ni nene dason bulan

tatay :   to, sa panahon sobong mabudlay na gid hang kinabuhi sang pamilya hang sogyot ko gid san imo
               indi ka lang muna manogminyo sobong, pag indi ka makaantos ara man si nanay mo gid paga
               polipolihan ta lang bla .

toto   :   ???  may ara gid pagka komonista si tatay ko man.


mao gid sina pagadangatan sang sistima na komonista

Sang lantaw ko man, ginagamit mo lang ang balbas mo sang dobghan isip sanina, nagasalig ka lang gid nga bongotom ka haw. Ini ikaw sang piktyur, indi halata nga nagaburlis ya...
