What place, can be a building, land, etc, do you feel most comfortable, safe and at ease?

Share your views and provide a reason why.

Angie, Pariho ta.

In my daily work and in studies, stress is a factor, always. Sometimes I just have an urge to visit church; and when I drive to the parking lot, I already start to feel a sense of relief.

Getting out of my car, and walking to Church, my body tingles around and the hairs of my body rises.

As I open the Doors of my Roman Catholic Church, the cold air rushes to my face and surrounds my body. I open the second door, to my right, there is the pitcher that holds Holy Water. The act of placing my finger in holy water and make the sign of the cross ; the forehead, the lower chest and both shoulders. It surrounds me with euphoric feeling and sensation.

I look up and see murals of the Blessed Mother Mary on top of clouds with 12 stars on top of her crown. Then I look to windows and see stations of the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ. I look forward, I see a large Crucifix and below it is the Blessed Holy Sacrament of the Lord. The Body of Christ.

I walk down the isle to the middle row, outstretch the kneeling instrument and sit down. My mind is suddenly filled with calm and peace. As if all my daily stresses have been taken away.

Then I start to pray with old women who still cover their faces with black veils. I join them in rosary prayer and as if our prayers permeate the church, as if our prayers rises to the Throne of Almighty God, like Incense rises to the Altar of the Lord.

When I join these ladies in prayer, it is as if I loose my track of time, and become en sync with prayer. Everything in the world disappears from my mind.

In prayer there is only communion with The Almighty. Naa'y feeling of great peace that words cannot even begin to describe.

After I finish, I genuflect, and leave.

As I leave Church, my mind is refreshed.

As I begin to drive away from the parking lot, I already want to go back to Church.

:)

I went to church before  class sa college. This was 2 years back.

Ningampo ko kai gi mingaw ko sa ahong pamilya; mingaw ko sa ahong mama ug ahong papa.

I was in church by myself, i fell asleep sa seat; sigoro i fell asleep for 1 or 2 hours. But I woke up because there was something hitting my eyes. I opened my eyes and looked and saw that the sun shined through the Window Murals of the church. All the colors luminated my face, and my chest.

Tinuud jud and mo believe jud ko that ang Ginoo is always listening.

He has given us all the time in the world; by giving him some time and visiting church and worshipping him; I think it is so beautiful.
