Ako, I'm hooked to LOST, Season 3 has just started in the Philippines.
Before that, ALIAS which already aired its last (5th) season.
Also the following are my favorite:
HBO's ROME, Season 2, but I'm frustrated coz I kept on missing the schedule.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA (new version).
I would have wanted to see 24 but again, I couldn't keep track of the schedule.

Korean dramas have been getting increasingly popular due to many reasons. they're either well dressed, good looking, or both. Also, these dramas are less racy and violent than pinoy teleserye, such as walang kapalit.etc. pinoy dramas focus more on what the people do, while Korean dramas focus more on relationships, tragic love triangles, and family. Family is an important part of Korean tradition. Also, some Korean dramas are very funny in a slightly different way than pinoy dramas. Another reason for popularity might be Korean dramas that depict life back then, as people are very interested and intrigued about Korean life back then and actors and actresses have more elaborate clothes. One more reason are biased fans. Say this famous actor is going to be in a drama, most fans of his will watch it, no matter if it is a great or sucky drama. That is probably one of the more prominent reasons.

Smallville: 7 Seven seasons only confirmed

Over at JewReview.net there's an interview with Michael Rosenbaum who plays Lex Luthor on CW's Smallville and he confirms that next season (which is Season 7) will be the last one for the series.

Rosenbaum said:

"Yeah, weâ€™re finishing up our sixth year and next year is the last year."
Sounds like confirmation to me. Of course I reported that Smallville would only go seven seasons a year and a half ago. :-)

The show's ratings are strong and it's as popular as ever. I think it's great that they'll be going into next season KNOWING it's the last one. That way they can map out a season-long arc that will hopefully flow really well and give a fantastic close to the series. It should be the culmination of the the Clark/Lex relationship, finally bringing Lex completely to the dark side:

"...next year is going to be the biggest year of all; itâ€™s the final year and everyoneâ€™s going to see what Lex Luther is really capable of. All hellâ€™s going to break loose!"

I know that there are a lot of fans who would like the series to go on and on, but I hope the producers stick to their guns and end the show while it's on top. There's nothing worse than watching a great show stick around a season or two too long.

About Smallville:

My brother let me borrowed his complete season 1 & 2 collection.
Grabe! I was holed up in my room practically the whole week watching the show, one episode after another.

Good they will end it sa season 7... aron dili na daghan ang akong apsonon pagtan-aw

Sayang ang HBO's Rome was only up to Season 2... but okay ra pud.

Alias was great when it ended in Season 5.

And LOST, oh boy, I was practically sitting by the edge of my seat when I watched the back-to-back episode at AXN Asia last night!
