What is a Messianic Conflict?

What´s the meaning of messianic conflict?  I just heard this from the radio.

uy, happy new year, vhinz!

i got curious about this question of yours... i never heard of this phrase.  but who knows some political scientist or writer would coin this in the future for an apt situation.  it would sound just right to describe wars inflicted by western nations (read: first world countries) on certain countries (read: thrid world countries) far from their own in the guise of saving their people, usually from national leaders perceive as tyrannical, real or unreal.

what is a more common phrase though is messianic complex, defined by the dictionary as "a state of mind in which an individual holds a belief they are, or are destined to become, a savior". (www.urbandictionary.com/)

the phrase also passes muster as messiah complex, christ complex, and savior complex.
