What hobbies do you like to do?

When i have time, i like to write poems (am an amateur), and recently trying to write in Binisaya . When I joined Tubag Bohol Dot Com 3 years ago, I was very poor in my bolanon proficiency, and these last 3 years have allowed me to perfect my tonation, and my understanding as well as 'slang terms' of Bolanon.

The first time I ever read a balak was from Michael Ligalig's poems in Tubag Bohol Dot Com.
The inspiration in the fact that i did not know what some of the words meant, made me research the words, and find out more about the language. My parents once asked me, "Why are you so interested as of late in Bisaya?"
I smirked and remarked, "Tubag Bohol."

They smiled.

Aside from a struggling student, I like to jot down words in my journals, attempt (poor) at poetry, and if i have time, i go cycling.

My poor attempt at songwriting is my favorite hobby, next is song blogging and webpage building. Daghan pa pero sa sunod napod na kabanata hehehehe...  ;D

- i write  ;) blogs and articles that i submit to different magazines and broadsheets.
- surfing the net
- accept coordination services, i do weddings in my free time
- hubby-ing  :) haha just being with him
- playing or cuddling up with my daughter is the best hobby! hehe

Thanks Enz. Read the pvt message. Basketball skills? Hmmmm, that was very loooong time ago. The shots I made when we were shooting hoops were pure luck (I was surprised too coz the goal is as small as the ball itself). Then I must still be good bwahahaha!!!  ;D

I remember 2 years ago when Ate Belle (Ms Da Binsi) used to take pictures of the changing leaves , and I was a secret admirer of her photography skills as well as the color changes of certain maple leaves. I plan in doing that this year if given enough time. A new hobby, so to say.

This reminds me of a side note of a story that i heard back when i was but an innocent college student (Muahahaha!)--so we went to Allegheny State Park which is located north of our campus, then to the Woodcock Dam basin when a group of ecology students and I (yours truly was a Biology Teacher's Assistant at the time) saw a classic example of hermitry. A hermit was literally weaving remnants of tree bark into baskets and then coloring them--which i assumed was to be used for domestic use or possible sale??

It brings to mind the saying, "don't waste what nature provides.."

Needless to say that experience, tho not outside the fringes of all things 'Ecological' , was subject to discussion and talk during our drive back to campus.
