My mother is a nurse and was part of the Brain Drain.
My father was an executive Civil Engineer Supervisor for a German-based Construction Firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

When my mother came back and was approved to relocate family, my father, without hesitation, resigned from his position , and took all of us kids with my mother back to the US. Sacrifice for the chance of a bright future and the American Dream.

The Brain Drain is responsible for the over 3 million Filipinos in the United States.

Over 150,000+ nurses and 20,000+ doctors in the United States are a product of the Filipino Brain Drain.

pero for me, i like dutch language, and they seem to have a laxed attitude. Dutch folks seem to be very international-minded. I knew one dutch man who spoke papamyentu (a language in dutch-antilles), javanese, and even knew some afrikans, as well as english to boot. A really nice guy, he owned a scuba diving place in Kralendjik and Curacao.
