A relationship's collapse pierces the heart, tearing the very love out from within. The pain, the loss of that love exposes oneself to an unbearable and unrelenting emptiness that reduces even the strongest, and reticent men to tears. One can pray that with time, the pain will numb itself away, hoping and praying that a new love will fill the void. In all honesty, that particular void cannot be completely filled for there will always will be a remnant. Not all men will admit this, but it is true, that a man's first "true" love will always hold a special place in his heart. He may marry someone else, he may have children with another woman, but , there will always be that part of him that will think of his first "true" love.
