I have been mistaken as a Thai lady so ako nlang gipakalitan ug ingon - Sawasdee!

One time I was mistaken as a Mexican.  One morning, just got back from morning mass, three people bearing magazine Awakening came knocking to my door.  Pag open nko I said, Hello!  Gitubag ba naman ko, Do you speak English?  Maayo nlang dili pa ko tantong maldita adto so i said, I think so.  Do you?

One time also I saw a Pinay in the mall.  itribida lagi so I greeted her in tagalog coz it's safer, Kmusta po kayo?  Nakurat sya, she said, Ay, I thought you are a Mexican!  Ingon nako, Ngek, Bisdak po ako tubong Bohol!

Nag tan aw mi concert adtong two weeks ago.  Naay mga puti sa akong likod sige Spanish sa ako.  So with a smile, i said, I don't speak Spanish only poquito.  Nakurat ba kaha!  You are not Mexicana? Oh no, I am Filipino!  Ask pod ko unsa ilang language kay mura galisud mang English.  Ingon nya, Alemania!  I meant to score so I gathered my tinaguan na Deutch!  Wie gehts es ihnen? Mein name ist Grace... Dah nakurat ang mga German na pod!  She continued to speak German but limitado ra bya tawon akong Deutch unya dili pod ka tarong English to sila so apilan nlang ug sign language. Maayo nlang nahuman na concert so I can use my last Deutch: Auf wiedersehen! Gute Nacht!
