Back when I was in my late teens, I danced salsa, rhumba, cha cha and even swing and tango with my gay friends. We also enjoyed the overtly sexual writhing dance moves of pop-rap music.  8)

Now...well, I just "dance" around cleaning the house or nod my head to the music while gardening.

Hubby dearest doesnt dance. Thats it. Period. He even stepped on my wedding dress on our wedding day.  :D Some things, you'll just have to leave alone.

Hahaha! how cute, Aly! I didnt' start dancing professionally till college where i was active in the collegiate swing dance society. I loved it; every friday we had meetings from 5 till 12 midnight and just get in the dance floor, and pick a woman and just dance. Usually there were more women than guys, so finding a partner was perfect, as they were all receptive. haha. In fact, many of my gf's in college, i met in the swing dance.

It definitely added some 'umft' to the relationship, you know.

The sexy moves in salsa and the quick movement of swing used to drive me insane. I would wait every friday afternoon for classes to end, so i could run to my dorm, dress up, and then move on to the dance floor~~

Fun times.

Nya dance pud sa disco kada pista.

I was dancing swing, rhumba, reggae, and cha cha in PE1.

In the meantime, I dance when I go to Zumba, and that will later this afternoon ;D

i even attended a country dance festival one time. Line Dancing. "Dosie doe your partner, back, and spin her rounnnd !" ha ha ha

I swear, some of the dancers were all in their cowboy gear. Tight fitted jeans, cowboy boots and even the hat to add. ha ha!

It was different. Liked it tho.

Fun time, i remember one hot venezuelan woman came up to me, and asked to dance with me, i agreed, ning 'okay okay' man ahong babycakes. Pero into the dance, i guess i was having too much fun, i looked in the direction of my babycakes, and saw her eyes fuming at me. her arms crossed. hahahaha!

wow!  glad you started her small.  it was great feat enough that she danced at all.  i once saw a 6-year-old ballerina-to-be who came out the greatest entertainer because she simply refused to dance onstage even if she was already on it, kontodo costume and all.  tanan nga moduol niya nga dagko-dagko aron siya alalayan iya gyod tawong hapakon. paskang gubota sa mga tawo ug pangatawa.

used to  ;D was a dancer in hs and college. and when i worked..waahh! every payday we go to discos and bars. of course lay low na ngayon. i get to dance nalang in my hiphop and jazz classes in the gym. pero baka mag-shift ako to yoga. ;) hope kaya ko. i heard mahirap daw.

putting on the brakes with the demands of motherhood?  understandable.  but once a dancer, always a dancer, they say.  great genes for your kids to take.
