I have 5 years experience in Tae Kwon Do and 2 years of Muay Thai Boxing (via sparring partners).

for workout purposes, yes.

but for defense its useless.

For women, I highly suggest they carry some kind of defense equipment. I have suggested to my sister that she gets a gun license so she can carry a handgun wherever she goes (so long as its not at work) for defense purposes.

She carries a pepper spray but she is now interested in getting a GLOC to carry with her wherever she goes. Much better. I also trained her in knife fighting and how to use a hunting knife for defense purposes.

No, that is difficult because most here in my place hand gun is their personal protection. bisan danao made lang.
