This chart summarizes voting results released by the Election Commission on Thursday accounting for 100 percent of votes cast in the March 24 parliamentary election.
Voters cast ballots for 350 out of 500 lower house seats, while 150 so-called party-list seats (based on a mathematical formula devised by the commission that credits parties for total votes received) are to be allocated in May. Several parties that were not elected to seats in parliament's lower house are likely to qualify for party-list seats.
The junta has not announced the names of the 250 handpicked senators.
The prime minister will be named by the party or coalition that has at least 376 seats – one more than half the lower house and senate combined.
