It has nearly been six months since WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been protected from political persecution in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. Ecuador granted Assange asylum for his involvement in "Cablegate" which exposed the corruption of governments across the globe, but the whistleblower has been held at a standstill due to the threat of arrest if he were to step foot outside the facility.
